We welcome back Sue Daley and Leonie Bateman to the pages of Quilters Companion, but this time they are teaming up on a joint project. We have two new contributors to QC this issue — Rachael Simmons with a very funky yo-yo quilt, and Linda Guy with a modern take on a medallion quilt. We feature a delightful owl wall hanging by Christine Sharp of Kids Quilts, and Wendy Whellum joins us again with a delightful traditional quilt.

Finally we have an amazing bag from UK designer Emma Brennan of Charlie’s Aunt. We also have a special feature article from Australian fabric designer Reece Scannell, who shares with us his recent experiences of travelling to Japan, exploring Japanese quilting culture and meeting Noriko Endo.
