Weakness for some, strength for some.

Flattery

Flattery deception is refined It is the froth of language, and it is the alcohol of social intercourse. It is the prescription of the subtle and the nectar of fools." As I came across this copied thought, beautifully scribbled, in my ages-old diary, it made me laugh thinking of those who ardently admire being flattered and those who flatter them because just watching them play their roles is no less than an engrossing scene of theatre.

No doubt, both categories exist almost everywhere, and as some of them get so addicted that they get known for it - many also turn magnets for amusing nicknames and titles.

But if flatterers keep floating around, it's because of their demand just like economics talks about demand. After all, many look forward to being buttered, and they value every moment of the process. Interestingly, many of them also get carried away and fail to figure out when and how they were misused, and if they ever learn about it - it's usually too late.
