Just days after three cast members announced they were leaving Home And Away, one of its most beloved and longstanding stars has revealed her plans to step away from Summer Bay.
Lynne McGranger, who has played Irene Roberts for more than three decades and is the show's longest-serving female cast member, surprised fans last week when she revealed her "dramatic" vision for when she finally leaves the show.
"I want to get lost at sea, or I want to die a really sad, lengthy death with everyone weeping and wailing around me," she told New Zealand website Stuff. "I want to go with the biggest bang, the most dramatic exit."
Lynne then joked that she could even do a double bluff for viewers.
