The news could certainly wait as David "Kochie" Koch put his role at the Sunrise desk aside to fly across the world so he could walk his daughter down the aisle.
The veteran journalist, 66, took extended leave to jet into London alongside his wife Libby to witness his youngest daughter Georgie's nuptials to German partner Alex Merkel in the stunning gardens of Regent's Park.
Donning a grey suit, Kochie beamed as he gave the last of his three daughters away, telling the media shortly after that despite it being his fourth child's wedding, "it was just as beautiful, fun, and emotional as the other three". "[It was] Great to have the entire family together," he added.
Also in attendance were sisters Brie and Samantha, who served as bridesmaids, granddaughters Matilda and Lila who were junior bridesmaids, and Ella, two, who was given the coveted role of flower girl.
