Q For a long time, I have suspected my husband might be gay. Before we met, he had a few gay male friends and I was impressed he felt comfortable around them. Sex was never exciting for us, but after 25 years of marriage and three children, he's now not at all interested. Plus, he's been going out with cycling friends outside of weekend cycles, and is forever on his phone making arrangements. He's always taken care of his appearance and been touchy-feely with both men and women, but discovering my mum friends refer to him as 'camp David' brought the fears I have repressed to the surface. Now, I am suspicious of everything he does. What can I do?
Every marriage has its challenges, particularly after 25 years and three children. Kids, financial pressures, infidelity, boredom - the list goes on. But to suspect your husband is gay is a whole different ball game. Learning that your spouse's sexual orientation is different from what you've always known is a confusing position to be placed in.
