Married at midnight - J.LO & BEN’S VEGAS VOWS

Almost 20 years after they were supposed to say “I do”, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have finally tied the knot.

Jennifer announced the exciting news in her personal newsletter, describing “the best night of our lives” at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

While many had been expecting a lavish affair for two of Hollywood’s biggest names, they instead celebrated their love with an intimate ceremony, with Ben’s children Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, and J.Lo’s twins Emme and Max, 14, the only guests in attendance.

“Last night, we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a licence with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world,” the 53-year-old pop star tells of their midnight nuptials at a drive-thru chapel.

“With the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives.

“It was the best possible wedding we could have imagined,” she continues. “One we dreamed of long ago and one made real in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas, a pink convertible and one another, at very, very long last.”

She signed off the message with her new name, Mrs Jennifer Lynn Affleck.
