Line Of Duty
The letter 'H' has never sounded so evil until Line Of Duty made it so! After the show burst onto our screens in 2012 we've been hooked, so while we wait for the next series to be announced let's visit some of their filming locations.
After recording series one in Birmingham, the producers opted for a change of scenery and have filmed every series since in Belfast.
The Invest Northern Ireland Building, on Bedford Street in Belfast City Centre is used as AC-12's office where Steve, Kate and Ted hunt for corrupt coppers. The Belfast Central Library doubles as the Police Headquarters, and the Royal Courts of Justice has been used for various court scenes.
Take the Line of Duty Walking Tour to explore these exciting venues as well as the graffiti tunnel where many covert meetings have occurred. britmovietours.com
Despite all its landmarks, Belfast is rarely showcased in the series. Only a few sights have been shown in all their glory.
Obel Tower and St Anne's Cathedral have been featured, but hopefully others will be shown in the future.
Until Line Of Duty returns to our screens, a wander around Belfast is a fascinating tour!
Grantchester
Head back in time to the 1950s with a visit to Grantchester's filming locations. Set in Cambridgeshire, the real Grantchester village is regularly used in the show, with the St Andrew and St Mary Church appearing in multiple episodes.
A walk along the River Cam in the Grantchester Meadows must be Stars Tom Brittney and Robson Green done. Many scenes have been filmed in this calming oasis so wander along the path and imagine yourself chatting with DI Geordie Keating.
Take a tour around the area where your expert guide will point out all these filming spots as well as some more hidden areas britmovietours.com
