Declutter with a ‘numbers game’
Overwhelmed with where to begin? TikToker Morgan Bradley of The Blonde Bibee account, which has more than 2.1 million views, came up with a simple way to get started. Instead of tackling all her clutter at once, her strategy is to do it in small chunks over the course of a few months. “I cut pieces of paper and labeled them 1 through 30 once, then 1 through 20 three times,” Bradley says. “I put them all in a basket and I’m going to draw one every day. The number on that paper is how many items I’m going to get rid of [that day].” The numbers add up to 1,095— the amount of items that will eventually be removed.
