STRENGTHENS IMMUNITY: A simple gargle
Fun holiday gatherings mean quality time with the people you love—and, unfortunately, exposure to viruses and bacteria. Luckily, research out of Taiwan reveals that just gargling with plain tap water three times daily helps flush out these troublemakers, reducing your risk of any illness (even COVID-19) by 36%. Want to power up your protection? Add sea salt to your swish. British scientists say the mineral-rich salt strengthens tissue lining the mouth so viruses can’t invade. To do: Mix 1 Tbs. of sea salt with 1⁄ 2 cup of water; refrigerate between uses.
