Camera phones usually harp on the typical bits, but the Vivo V30 Pro puts the focus on portrait photography and Zeiss. A 50-megapixel portrait camera combines with a rather nifty aura light for better close-up shots.

You can always expect big numbers when it comes to Vivo camera phones, and the V30 Pro expectedly goes big with a 50MP+50MP+50MP triple camera setup. There’s also Zeiss optimisation for the portrait camera, including various bokeh modes, the ability to modify the bokeh effect itself, and ability to go 2X zoom for portraits.

All of this might make you think that this is a very high-end smartphone, but the V30 Pro doesn’t quite match up to the X100 series in key ways. This is still a premium-tier camera phone that is priced at over 40k, but beyond the camera fun, it’s a mid-tier device. The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset powers the phone, but you do get the benefit of up to 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, a big 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Get this for the camera capabilities though, and not just portraits - the other two cameras perform just as well.
