There are plenty of day planner apps out there, but few that are made for neurodiverse users with conditions ranging from autism to ADHD. Tiimo aims to fill that niche.
That's not to say you can't use it if your needs are different. The app will appeal to more or less anyone who is looking for an app to help them organize their day, and there are few hints that it was made to be a particularly specialized app at all. The considerations made for its target audience - mainly its focus on visual planning - can be appreciated by anyone.
So, what's it like to use? For the most part, it's a pleasing experience. The main My Day tab has a horizontal calendar at the top and a vertical timeline below, so scrolling through your day is simple. You can add activities or entire pre-made routines to the timeline, and each item can be assigned an icon and a color, and set to repeat on a customizable schedule. When you allocate a time to an item, you see a progress bar as it gets underway, while the Right Now tab shows your progress on the currently active task.
