MATT BLOOMFIELD admitted to frustration at Wycombe Wanderers being held by their Thames Valley neighbours but claimed it was a joy to see his side play with such confidence.
The Chairboys were pegged back after Beryly Lublala put the Adams Park side ahead after 18 minutes with his seventh of the season, with Harvey Knibbs equalising 12 minutes later following a mistake at the back from Joe Low.
The draw means Wanderers remain top of the League One table, level on points with second-place Wrexham.
Bloomfield said: "It was slightly frustrating as we wanted the ball in play and create that momentum, but it was hard to do that with the game stopping so often.
"Reading are a good team, they are in good form, and we knew it would be tough, but we reacted to that well with the principles and the philosophies we have implemented.
