Just eight days after a players-only meeting gave him the mandate for change, PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan unveiled a raft of changes to the Tour's ecosystem, which include the birth of a new super series, a $50m boost to player bonuses, and a $500,000 salary for golfers who compete in at least 15 tournaments.
