As for New Zealand, they won nine matches and lost eight games. Pakistan won four and lost as many as six. South Africa had a very poor T20 year, winning two and losing six, while Sri Lanka had a disastrous year in T20Is, losing five and winning only one. As for West Indies, they won eight and lost five. Yashasvi played 14 innings, registering an impressive tally of 430 runs at an average of 33.07 and a strike rate of 159.25 with one hundred and three fifties. He smashed 84 not out off 51 against West Indies in Lauderhill, 100 off 49 against Nepal in Hangzhou in the Asian Games, 53 off 25 versus Australia in Thiruvananthapuram and 60 off 41 against South Africa in Johannesburg.
