But for riders who don’t have years of pedalling behind them, or for those who simply want a method that’s easily repeatable from shoe to shoe, it’s best to start off by installing the cleat in a neutral location on the shoe.

This quick guide will explain how to place your cleats in a neutral position based on your foot’s anatomy.
