The League Of Legends ecosystem is ever-expanding, and indie-focussed spin-off publishing house Riot Forge might be its most interesting branch. It gives studios LOL characters to centre their games on, allowing them to develop their stories and expand the universe. But in the case of The Mageseeker, the developer's biggest obstacle might be the very character it's focussed on.
The Mageseeker in question is Sylas, a character who has spent 15 years in prison after evidence of his magical powers outlawed in his homeland of Demacia - came to light. Sylas' inherent abilities are limited, but he can sense magic in others and absorb it, taking on their powers for a short time.
After using that ability to stage a prison break, Sylas finds himself on the front line of a civil war.
