The colours in your image determine its overall appearance, of course. So when shooting a subject that has a range of coloured elements, it helps to make sure they balance each other out.
If you are working on products or brand content, it is especially important to reproduce the colours correctly. The Hue Range Mask feature in Affinity Photo makes it easy to edit the colours of your choice non-destructively.
1 Add layers
Open your image in Affinity Photo 2.0 and duplicate the background layer. This way, the original file will remain untouched if you need to re-edit it in the future. Now, add a Hue Range Mask layer and an additional window with the Hue Wheel will automatically open in the program.
