A FORMER nursery worker who kicked, pinched and deliberately dropped young children in her care has been found guilty of multiple counts of child cruelty.

Nursery worker guilty of ‘staggering’ cruelty to young children in her care

Roksana Helena Lecka, 22, of Avro Place, Hounslow, abused a number of babies and toddlers at two separate nurseries in Twickenham and Hounslow between October 2023 and June 2024.

Early years educator Lecka was caught on CCTV repeatedly causing children as young as ten months to cry by nipping and scratching them and roughly placing them on the floor.

The footage also showed her vaping less than one metre from a small baby on more than one occasion. Photos taken by worried parents further revealed the extent of her cruelty, with numerous children in her care left with red marks, bruises and scratches.
