Travellers force the closure of Mid Devon leisure centre

A MID Devon sports centre was forced to close last week after a group of travellers set up camp at the site.

The Culm Valley leisure centre, in Cullompton was shut temporarily on April 29, while Active Devon, which operates the centre, started legal action to move on the travellers.
