More FYUP Hurdles: No Final Word On Syllabi For General Courses Yet

New Delhi: While the first set of curriculum for the four-year undergraduate programme (FYUP), which is to be implemented from the upcoming academic session, got approved on Wednesday, the syllabi for courses like general electives and value-added courses have not been placed before Delhi University’s standing committee yet.

Stating that these are the courses that students are required to take up in the first year itself, many teachers argued that the entire FYUP syllabus should have been prepared before it got implemented to enable students to make informed choices about their courses.
