The scam was busted by the task force police three months ago.
On Tuesday, a special investigation team (SIT) of Hyderabad Central Crime Station arrested SRKU vice-chancellor Dr. M Prashant Pillai and former VC Dr. S S Kushwah from Bhopal. Earlier, police had arrested an assistant professor of SRKU, Ketan Singh, in the case.
Hyderabad additional commissioner AR Srinivas said Pillai and Kushwah confessed admitted signatures on certificates were theirs. They said they added their signatures as registrar, controller of exams, and heads of departments had also signed.
