Thomas Markle was buoyed by seeing his son-in-law walking alongside his brother in a show of royal unity in the wake of their grandmother’s death.
Thomas, 78 – who watched the televised service with his son Thomas Jr – has been unable to reach Meghan since a row over staged photos taken before her wedding to Harry in 2018.
