This shows that PM Modi can take decisions regarding the country with assurance and confidence that could be historic.
PM Modi's second term has also been historic, undoubtedly. He took several remarkable decisions in the last five years which were remarkable, for instance abolishing Article 370 in Kashmir was a major decision.
The attitude he has shown in the last session of the 17th Lok Sabha makes it clear that he will return as the Prime Minister in the 18th Lok Sabha as well.
Furthermore, Modi government has already set the agenda for 2029.
It is however a different matter to observe if the opposition could see it or not. Taking a closer look at the past, it can be recalled that the opposition mocked at PM Modi's idea in the first term of abolishing Article 370 in Kashmir, with some leaders suggesting to remove it just for the sake of showing.
However in the second term, Modi government standing by its words removed Article 370 thereby surprising the entire country and the world. The opposition did not understand what to do. In the second term, the country's Home Minister Amit Shah has reiterated that India will take back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. While this may seem strange now, it cannot be denied that the Modi government know how to make best use of opportunity.
