If cricket fans were hoping for a thrilling climax to the ongoing T-20 series between India and New Zealand they were in for a huge disappointment. Chasing India's mammoth 234/4. the Kiwi batsmen seemed woefully out of nick. In the end the visitors were skittled out a paltry 66. Arshdeep Singh and skipper Hardik Pandya made early inroads. The Kiwis never really recovered from the early setbacks. With this thumping victory, India clinched the T-20 series 2-1.
Earlier a sensational maiden T20I century by Shubman Gill (126 not out off 63) and along with Rahul Tripathi's quickfire cameo (44 off 22) powered India to a mammoth 234/4 in 20 overs against New Zealand in the third and final T20I at the Narendra Modi Stadium, here on Wednesday.
