In a statement, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said the rollout of this service is part of its efforts to get more Filipinos to register with the PhilSys, including minors.
To register, a parent or guardian who is already PhilSys-registered will need to be present.
The child’s PhilSys number or permanent identification number will be linked to the accompanying parent or guardian.
