Ministry of External Affairs spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said on Tuesday, "The report makes unwarranted and unsubstantiated imputations on a serious matter." He further mentioned an ongoing investigation by a HighLevel Committee appointed by the Indian government to address security concerns shared by the U.S. regarding networks of organized criminals, terrorists, and others.
India has also criticised such reports as speculative and deemed irresponsible comments on them as unhelpful.
