Inhuman to exclude people of Delhi from Ayushman Bharat, says Nadda

UNION Health Minister J P Nadda on Tuesday said that it is "inhuman" for the people of Delhi to not be part of the Centre's Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), considered to be the largest insurance scheme in the world.

"We hope the government of Delhi gets some wisdom, and if they don't, then we hope the people ensure that they get it on February 5," Nadda said, taking a dig at the AAP-led government in the national capital. Elections in Delhi are slated for February 5. He said Delhi and West Bengal are the only two states that are yet to be part of the scheme, which provides ₹5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary car
