India Summons Bangla Envoy for 'Negative' Remark

THE Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday summoned Bangladesh's Acting High Commissioner to India following protests lodged by Dhaka over the "highly aggressive" remarks made by former PM Sheikh Hasina.

The MEA clarified that Hasina's comments were made in her "individual capacity" and stressed that India had "no role to play" in it.
