After a day's break, the yatra resumed from the Hiranagar area of Kathua at around 7 am today. After travelling for about 22 kilometers and entering Samba district, the yatra was halted for the day and would be resumed the next morning. A delegation of Jammu Bar Association led by its president M K Bharadwaj met Rahul Gandhi during the yatra and apprised him about their issues.
"We travel 21-22 kms daily during the yatra in two phases.&nbsp;Here, we travel 21 kms on a single stretch due to security issues," Congress leader Jairam Ramesh told the reporters in Samba.
Asked whether there would be change in yatra schedule after yesterday's twin blasts in Jammu, he said there can be no compromise on Rahul Gandhi's security. "For us, Rahul's security is top priority. Whatever security agencies advise us, we will follow it. The aim of every Bharat yatri is that there should be no compromise or no doubt on security," he said. The&nbsp;party also stated that there would be no change in the yatra schedule after the twin blasts in Jammu city yesterday.
"These kinds of incidents won't deter us. We will fight the terrorism and our yatra will go on as per schedule," said J&amp;K Congress spokesman Ravindra Sharma. Nine persons were injured in twin bomb blasts in Jammu city yesterday.
