Panel's report to focus on ensuring flexible and transparent policies
AP forms panel to study revenue generation

CHIEF Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday constituted a special committee, which will study methods to increase revenue generation in the Stamps and Registrations Department.

The panel, consisting of IAS officers MT Krishna Babu, Rajat Bhargava, Neerabh Kumar Prasad, and Gulzar, will submit a report on measures that will help the state rake in more revenue while ensuring flexible and transparent policies for the benefit of people.

During a meeting to review revenue-earning departments at his camp office in Tadepalli, Jagan said, "Registration procedures should not be cumbersome. Taxpayers should feel that there is transparency and the policies are flexible."
