The owner of the facility, Narendran, was arrested by the Magaral police on Wednesday evening and was remanded under IPC Sections pertaining to negligent conduct with respect to explosive substance, causing grievous hurt to others, causing death not amounting to culpable homicide and provisions of the Explosives Act. Police said the unit has a licence valid until 2024.
