Migrants have a cheek to says minister complain,

The government has been scrambling to resolve the crisis after it emerged at the weekend that around 4,000 people were being held at a site designed for 1,600.

Within hours, Downing Street distanced itself from Mr Philp’s comments, saying migrants deserved to be treated “with compassion and respect”. Mr Philp later remained silent when he was doorstepped by a television crew to ask if he stood by his comments.

Immigration minister Robert Jenrick was also heckled by some residents on a visit to Dover with the town’s MP Natalie Elphicke and dodged questions from the press.

The home secretary Suella Braverman was roundly condemned for claiming the UK faced an “invasion” on its south coast earlier this week, 24 hours after a firebomb attack on an immigration centre in Dover.

United self-destruct again as Burnley win late penalty

Erik ten Hag objects when his Manchester United are described as a disgrace or an embarrassment, so there may be a need for a more measured turn of phrase. But this was an indictment: of a club, a team and a manager. United showcased their self-destructive streak again, suggesting no lead is safe when they possess it, and dropped two points.

WWE and Khan...the ideal tag team to conquer London

Professional wrestling and politics may seem like strange bedfellows, but that isn’t really the case. There’s a surprisingly rich history of the two crossing over, probably due to their shared tendency to blur reality and fiction, their reliance on larger-than-life personalities, and the fact that most people can’t help but complain no matter who wins.
