AN illustrated presentation covering 2,000 years of the story of Saltash at War has been delivered to a packed audience at the town's library.
The talk, which ranged all the way from the Romans to the Cold War, was delivered as part of National Community History Month.
Fascinating facts were revealed by the eight members of the Saltash at War group, who organised the presentation in little over two months. It is now hoped the talk can be given to more of the Saltash community, including schoolchildren.
The audience were treated to many historic tales about the town's history, including Sir Francis Drake bringing home Spanish treasure worth up to £12 million, by today's reckoning.
