But in an unexpected turn of events, Saturday's 3.54pm train from Truro to Plymouth was held up for an hour-and-a-half because there was a garden shed on the tracks.
The Great Western Rail service was halted at Bodmin Parkway after a shed "the size of a double garage" was blown onto the train tracks, landing directly upright as though ready for use.
