A WOMAN living in Saltash has shared a photograph of a giant spider after spotting the eight-legged creature in her laundry room.
Sue Wayne said it had a "special place" outside the door of the laundry room, under the guttering.
Sue described the spider as looking "threatening", with its long, thin legs and large, solid, black body. She also said when she had a closer look, she noticed "tattoos" along its body.
Although Sue said she did like spiders, this particular one looked unfriendly and she thought twice before picking it up.
She said it had not moved since she found it.
