Things have gone flat for soft drinks company

THE South West's leading supplier of soft drinks and sister company to the famous Jolly's Drinks brand has gone bust with debts of nearly £1.4m.

Things went flat for Saltash-based Cuda Drinks Co Ltd during the Covid pandemic, but bosses at Jolly's Drinks Ltd, which is owned by the same parent company, stress the drink-maker is unaffected and continues to grow.

Cuda Drinks was launched in 2006 and became the South West's distributor for the national Nichols Dispense network. But when the hospitality industry was locked down during the Covid pandemic the company, which supplied Plymouth and surrounding areas, struggled.
