MINI VERSION OF TOWER CREATED IN CITY CENTRE
WILLIAM TELFORD
Smeaton's replica is installed

A MINI version of Plymouth's famous Smeaton's Tower lighthouse has been attracting attention in the city centre and now we can shine a light on how it got there.

The bespoke metal replica of the Victorian landmark on the Hoe can be seen outside the Morley Court flats near Western Approach.

The lighthouse model was created and donated to residents by Roborough-based ARC Metalcraft, which wanted to give something back to the community after carrying out work in the area on behalf of Plymouth Community Homes (PCH).
