THE Coronation weekend has finally begun with events planned across the city to celebrate the historic events in London.
But a forecast for wet weather means the planned celebrations on the Barbican have been moved to the Guildhall.
According to the Met Office, Plymouth will be hit by heavy rain throughout the day tomorrow.
It means both the public screening of the Coronation Ceremony today, and the Coronation Concert on Sunday will now take place at the Guildhall.
Meanwhile, plans are also in place to move scheduled entertainment indoors. The village fete will include community stalls, street-style entertainers and a large table where people can sit together. The public are encouraged to bring their own picnic to share and enjoy.
