Theatre bosses are delighted after learning Sleeping Beauty, starring EastEnders favourite and panto legend Shane Richie, had become TRP's most successful panto with 54,915 people enjoying the laughs during its fourweek run. Sleeping Beauty sold 20% more seats than 2021/22's pantomime Aladdin, featuring Joe Pasquale as Wishee Washee.
James Mackenzie-Blackman, chief executive and executive producer at TRP, said: "Huge thanks to our loyal audiences for helping to continue to support TRP through challenging times.
