BOSSES from some of the world's top cruise lines will be shown around Plymouth next week as the city bids to "wow" them into making it a major cruise ship destination.
The city's tourism chiefs will host executives from P&O Cruises, Cunard Line, Saga Cruises and Ambassador Cruise Line on January 31 and February 2.
Britain's Ocean City is already looking forward to a bumper year for cruise ship visits in 2023 with 12 bookings expected, including the return of the enormous MS Rotterdam. That total is an increase on the seven visits in 2022 and there could even be more as tourism chiefs make their move to establish Plymouth a mainstay of the UK cruise industry.
