A PLYMOUTH organisation which provides military medical staff to work alongside the NHS has been recognised for its commitment to healthcare by being awarded the Freedom of the City.
Military medical group given city's top honour

The Joint Hospital Group (South West) provides military medical staff to work alongside NHS professionals. Previously based at the Royal Naval Hospital Stonehouse, with around 170 personnel, including consultants, nurses, operating department practitioners, radiographers and medics working in the NHS trust, the group moved to Plymouth Science Park, at Derriford, in 2021.
