VISITORS to Plymouth’s British Firework Championships will be able to catch special late trains home on Wednesday August 17 – but there will be no trains at all for the second day of the competition, due to strike action.
GWR will be running late trains back to Cornwall, the Tamar Valley, Totnes, Newton Abbot and Exeter after the British Firework Championships in Plymouth next Wednesday.
The last train from Plymouth to Saltash, St Germans, Liskeard, Bodmin Parkway and main stations to Penzance, which normally leaves at 22.38, will leave Plymouth later at 23.15.
