A DOCUMENTARY from Netflix that will chronicle the life and death of BBC Radio Devon broadcaster Jill Dando is due to be released later this year, the streaming service has confirmed.

Jill was a popular household name known for her work on Crimewatch, the BBC Six O’Clock News and Holiday, while she was also a newsreader for BBC Radio Devon earlier in her career.

Tragically, she was shot outside the front door of her Fulham home on April 26, 1999, at the age of 37.
