Jephcott back where it started with Truro
The Herald|February 06, 2025
FORMER Plymouth Argyle top scorer Luke Jephcott will spend the rest of this season on loan to Truro City from League Two side Newport County, writes Chris Errington.

It is the second time the 25-year-old has been on loan to the Cornish club, who are currently in seventh position in National League South but within striking distance of all the teams above them in the table. Jephcott spent the first half of the 2019/20 campaign on loan to Truro from Argyle, and scored eight goals in 18 games, before being recalled by then Pilgrims' boss Ryan Lowe.

The Argyle academy product went on to be Argyle's 18-goal top scorer in the 2020/21 season, and netted another 12 times the following campaign.
