A VINTAGE shop on the Barbican where clothes are saved from landfill is a "treasure trove of delights" where "anybody is welcome".
That's according to owner Poppy Yeomans, who has had a passion for fashion and originality since she was just two years old.
Poppy, who is about to turn 29, grew up in a tiny village in Cornwall where the freedom and an abundance of nature-inspired her quirky individualism. Now living in Stoke, Plymouth, she has channelled her imagination into her shop: The Original Fruitcakes.
Tucked away inside The House that Jack Built - a historical building "frozen in time", with quaint, narrow corridors leading to one central opening packed with water fountains, witches and gnomes shop is a feast for the senses and is helping to tackle fast fashion in one small but mighty swoop.
