A NEW classical music venue is set to bring world-class musicians to Plymouth.
Levinsky Hall, part of the Roland Levinsky Building at the University of Plymouth, now has a Steinway Model C grand piano, along with new on-stage acoustic panels, and is set to host its first season as a classical music venue.
The venue will present the Musica Viva Concert Series, hosting leading musicians in public concert performances, open rehearsals, and informal talks.
The two Autumn concerts – Romantic Piano and Virtuoso Violin – kick off an exciting season that aims to highlight both compositional and instrumental virtuosity in works ranging from the Romantic era to the present day.
