A PLYMOUTH festival is being held today at a popular community venue in the city. The 'We Are Here' Festival is a half-day event following last year's sell out success when the festival launched.
Organised by We Are Here Promotions, the event is run by a collective of local female and non-binary musicians. Today's festival will showcase musicians from underrepresented genders and all are welcome to come along and enjoy the We Are Here Festival.
We Are Here Promotions aim to put on events and create opportunities for artists that "don't get the same profile as male performers". The organisers say the collective aim of the We Are Here festival is to "create a safe and accessible event for all to enjoy".
