Get ready for a giant Jubilee celebration

A GIANT'S Tea Party and Parade will be coming to Keyham as part of the community's Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations on June 2.

The Barbican Theatre is staging the event, which will see giants - who have been made with the help of schools and community groups parade through the streets from noon before meeting at North Downs Park at 1 pm for a tea party open to everyone.

The Keyham Giants project has involved schools and community groups from the Keyham, Ford, and Devonport areas. They will be spending time with community art leaders, puppeteers, musicians, and theatre companies to build their own Plymouth Giant puppets for the Giant Jubilee Tea Party - and experience a community arts event of giant proportions.
