THE Met Office has warned of the potential risk of thunderstorms in South-West England at the end of the week, after the next few days of hot weather.
The Devon-based forecaster says the region could see the chance of 'some showers and thunderstorms' in its long-range forecast, covering June 9 to June 18.
Today and tomorrow will be the hottest days in Plymouth this week, with temperatures forecast to reach 21C, but things could turn cloudier and a little cooler on Thursday and Friday, and the Met Office says there is the chance for some stormy weather in the region as we head into the weekend and next week.
