Down time gives us a chance to spruce up the Brickfields

DURING the off season, it's important to ensure that we put the 'down time' to good use.

Down time gives us a chance to spruce up the Brickfields

Although there is a lack of rugby at the club, this only means that we have time enough to prepare for the new season.

This doesn't just start and end on the pitch, but off the pitch also. Countless hours are spent deep cleaning the facilities and touching up the paint work to ensure the ground is gleaming come September.

As you know, we are supported hugely by an amazing network of volunteers who give up their valuable time to help us stay on top of the mammoth task, we are so grateful for everything they do.

Included in the renovations is the reinstatement of the Jimmy Peters Bar from a working office to bar as it was a few years ago. We changed the location of the offices due to the short term letting of the Brunel Stand to the NHS, with the hope that we could move back once they had left.
